The term engineering psychology refers to the investigation of psychological processes related to using technical products. It is sometimes used interchangeably with human-machine ans also human-computer interaction. Within this field, there is a long tradition of using psychophysiological methods not only in basic but also in applied research, for quantifying stress-strain processes, changes of attention, and emotional states arising from an interaction with technical equipment.
During their time at the University of Wuppertal, Professor Boucsein and his team performed a broad scope of scientific investigations in various fields of engineering psychology that resulted in numerous publications. Following this tradition, psyrecon conducts applied psychophysiological research in car driving, piloting, ergonomics / usability and stress-strain processes. By means of scientifically based applied research, psyrecon contributes to innovation processes in engineering psychology, as specified in the menu items. We would like to use our expertise to help you answer your specific research questions.
